BUCKET LIST NEW YORK

Bucket List New York City And Surroundings

I never really wanted to visit NYC. It never was on my wish or travel list. But a coincidence (or may it be destiny?) made me go to New York City once! At Christmas time!  I wanted to make a Christmas East Coast tour, and the only thing I wanted to see in NYC was the Christmas Tree at the Rockefeller Center. I have been there!

Another coincidence (or probably destiny once again?) led me to have a 27 hours stopover in New York. Well, if I am already there, I could explore as much as I can? So, I made a plan and explored the city! You´re asking “what was this plan?” It has something to do with the Statue of Liberty, but not the original one…

And now, as often as I have been there, as more I want to see! Here are a few things, which I already have visited, and which are still outstanding:

  • Christmas Tree at the Rockefeller Center
  • the ice rink at the Rockefeller Center
  • visit Central Park
  • visit Central Park during fall foliage
  • visit Central Park during Springtime
  • find all replicas of the statue of liberty
  • visit the original Statue of Liberty
  • visit Montauk
  • visit the Lighthouse in Montauk
  • explore the rest of Long Island
  • go back to the Sunrise Guest House
  • be atop of the Rockefeller Center
  • walk the Brooklyn Bridge
  • wander at High Line
  • visit Shelter Island
  • being atop of the Empire State Building
  • visit the One World Trade Center
  • experience Cherry Blossom
  • this is not the end
